So I just got done with the bottom part of the back and I read this.
CO 30 sts. Continuing from these sts, work sts from st holder in patt as set, then CO 30 sts at end of row. 81 sts.
My first thoughts are HEH? I’m really confused and would like a little bit of help thanx!
When you knit this bag you are knitting the bottom of it first, then you are casting on to knit each of the two sides on either side of the bag. You knit across the bottom, cable cast on 30 stitches, work these back in the cable setup pattern, work across the bottom again, then cable cast on the other side. You’ll work the 81 stitches as one large piece to the finish, then seam the bottom to the sides and then seam up the side to the top to make the tube of the bag.
