How do I become a professional model?
I have an idea of how to get myself out there, but I’m just a bit unsure about the comp cards and all that. How should I make it? what information should be on there, and how should it be set up? I know I don’t need a professional photographer. And it’s a bit easier now because agencies such as Ford Models and Elite allow you to send this information through the web, but I still wanna know how to make a tangible comp card. Furthermore, I need some help in the fitness and health department! lol. im a bit flabby and thick around my thighs—not too much in the regular world but in the modeling world I need some work haha. Any general tips about the modeling world in general? It’s needless to say that it is a cut-throat business to say the least, because the world population already knows that. Any professional models on Yahoo! Answers? hit me up! Thanks =)
You don’t need a comp card if you don’t have an agent yet. If you get signed by an agency, they will put together your comp card – they hire the photographers and select the photos that will go on it.
You need a good headshot and Full Body shot to send into agencies and they will contact you if they think you have the right look
