Help! Cat is pregnant and still nursing last litter!?
The Labor Day weekend we had a stray cat come to our house. She was very thin, so of course I started feeding her. Approximately two days later, she left me her pet and I discovered she was a nursing mother. About six weeks later, she brought two kittens home. It was freezing that night so I have left and kittens sleep in my garage. A week later they are still there. I let mom cat (Gracie) but it always comes back to her kittens and never leave. (It is about 40 degrees), and Gracie is pregnant again. I do not know to what extent it is, but I can feel the kittens moving in her womb and she is really complete. Help! How do I know how far is it? How long the current baby nurse? This new for me! Any info would be greatly appreciated. We have already had a house cat but it was fixed when she was 5 months, so I do not know what to do!
get it fixed! ask the vet what to do!
