The Friendship Stone Christmas Message

Christmas is the best time of year for some families.  It is the time when the kids are on holiday; the time for decorating the Christmas tree and unravelling the fairy lights that someone thoughtfully squashed into a cardboard box last year; a time for spending hours wrapping a Christmas friendship gift and stirring the Christmas pudding; stomping feet in the snow to warm them up during the carol singing; a time for appreciating the smell of roasting turkey.

Going away from home again can be both exciting and upsetting for kids who are studying far away.  For small brothers and sisters, who might be too young to understand why such absences are necessary, this is a time when a Friendship Stone is a comforting connection.
